Privacy

Strength Record Radar minimizes personal data and separates public calculations from administrator operations.

Public calculations

Qualification and record inputs can be used without an account. Guest profile values stay in the browser unless you deliberately submit a discrepancy report or enable a future account feature. Shared result links exclude birth dates, email addresses, notes, and administrator metadata.

Information we retain

Discrepancy reports retain the text and contact information you choose to submit. Security logs retain pseudonymized rate-limit keys, request identifiers, and operational events. Administrator records retain audit history required to explain source and publication decisions. Lifter accounts are disabled in production until their verification, recovery, export, and deletion controls are complete.

Categories, purposes, and service providers

We may process identifiers and contact details you submit, athlete names used for public-result searches, discrepancy-report content, and limited internet or device information used for security and rate limiting. We use this information to answer requests, return requested results, protect the service, investigate errors, and maintain an auditable publication process. Hosting, database, and public-data service providers may process only the information needed to provide those services. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Athlete-result searches

When athlete search is enabled, the name you enter is sent from our server to Close Powerlifting to retrieve OpenPowerlifting-derived public meet results. If that service is unavailable, we may search a dated OpenPowerlifting-derived snapshot hosted in our database. We do not include your email address or browser profile in either request. We use a pseudonymized network identifier to enforce search limits and do not intentionally retain a search history. Close Powerlifting operates under its own privacy and service terms.

Source and federation data

Public competition and record information may identify athletes as part of source-backed sporting history. Each published claim includes provenance and a correction path. Administrative source snapshots are retained to support accuracy, auditability, and corrections.

Retention, tracking, and policy changes

We retain submitted reports, security events, and administrator audit records only as long as reasonably needed for correction, security, legal, and source-audit purposes. Browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change service behavior because we do not track visitors across unrelated websites for advertising. Other parties may process requests only when you use an integrated service, such as athlete search. Material policy changes will be posted here with a new effective date before or when they take effect.

California privacy requests

Strength Record Radar is operated from California, United States. If applicable law gives you the right to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, or to receive equal service after making a request, you may exercise that right using the contact method below. We may need to verify the request and may retain information when an exception applies. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is no sale or advertising-sharing opt-out required for the service’s current operation.

Requests and corrections

Use the discrepancy form for a public result or source correction. For privacy or data requests, email forgestrengthsystems@gmail.com.
